City of Kingsland Honors Veterans with Proclamation for Veterans Day 2025
KINGSLAND, GA — The City of Kingsland proudly joins the nation in recognizing and honoring the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Mayor Dr. C. Grayson Day, Jr. has officially proclaimed Tuesday, November 11, 2025, as Veterans Day in the City of Kingsland.
Each year on Veterans Day, the nation pauses to express gratitude to those who have worn the uniform of the United States military. The proclamation acknowledges the courage, dedication, and love of country displayed by generations of veterans—from the Vietnam War to today’s service members stationed around the world.
“Veterans Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity,” said Mayor Day. “We are deeply thankful to those who have served and to those who continue to defend our freedoms. Their commitment reminds us that the liberties we enjoy were secured and protected through their sacrifice.”
The proclamation also recognizes the families of veterans and active service members whose strength and support sustain their loved ones and inspire the community. Kingsland takes special pride in being home to veterans from every generation who continue to serve as mentors, neighbors, and community leaders.
