Human Resources Department

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department supports all City of Kingsland departments by delivering comprehensive services in the following areas:

  • Human Resources Management
    Oversight of policies, procedures, and compliance related to personnel operations.
  • Recruitment and Selection
    Coordinating job postings, initial applicant screening, skills testing, interviews, and candidate assessments.
  • New Hire Processing
    Managing all onboarding documentation, legal compliance, and associated correspondence.
  • Employee Records Management
    Maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Safety and Risk Management
    Promoting a safe work environment through training, monitoring, and coordination with departments on risk prevention measures.
  • Policy Guidance and Support
    Providing direction to supervisors and employees on legal, procedural, and disciplinary matters.
