Kingsland Police Department
Protecting with Honor – Serving with Pride
Welcome to the official web page of the Kingsland Police Department. Our mission is to protect the lives, property, and constitutional rights of every individual in the City of Kingsland. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and well-informed community through proactive policing, transparency, and meaningful public engagement.
We are proud to serve the residents, businesses, and visitors of Kingsland with honor and pride. Together, we are building a safer, stronger community.
The Kingsland Police Department is dedicated to safeguarding our city through effective law enforcement strategies, strong community partnerships, and ethical policing practices. We work to prevent crime, resolve conflicts peacefully, and deliver justice with fairness and integrity.
We offer a comprehensive range of public safety services to support our growing and vibrant community:
Patrol Division
Our uniformed officers are the first responders to calls for service. They patrol neighborhoods, respond to emergencies, investigate crimes, and provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
Criminal Investigations Division (CID)
Detectives in the CID investigate major crimes, including theft, assault, fraud, and other felony offenses. The division works closely with local, state, and federal partners to solve complex cases and ensure public safety.
School Resource Officer Program
The Kingsland Police Department provides three full-time School Resource Officers (SROs) to the Camden County School System. Officers are assigned to Camden Middle School, the Camden County Ninth Grade Center, and Camden County High School. SROs manage school traffic, provide security at events, and foster a safe learning environment by building strong relationships with students and staff.
Training Division
Led by our Training Coordinator, the Training Division ensures all officers receive up-to-date instruction in policing tactics, legal updates, and community engagement. The division plays a vital role in maintaining a professional and prepared police force.
Internal Affairs Division
The Internal Affairs Division is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the department. It investigates complaints of misconduct, policy violations, and use-of-force incidents. All investigations are conducted fairly, thoroughly, and objectively to promote accountability and public trust.
Community Policing
We prioritize building strong community relationships through neighborhood watch programs, public safety outreach, and local events. Our goal is to work alongside citizens to improve quality of life and reduce crime.
K-9 Unit
Our highly trained K-9 teams assist with narcotics detection, suspect tracking, and officer protection, enhancing both officer safety and operational effectiveness.

Through the enforcement of traffic laws, DUI prevention, and accident investigations, we help ensure roadway safety throughout the Kingsland community.
