How to Obtain a Copy of a Marriage Certificate
If you were married in Camden County, Georgia—including within the City of Kingsland—all official marriage records are maintained and issued by the Camden County Probate Court. The Probate Court is the sole legal authority responsible for processing and maintaining marriage license records for the county.
To request a certified copy of a marriage certificate, you may do so in person, by mail, or online, depending on the services currently offered by the Probate Court. You will typically need to provide the full names of both spouses, the date of marriage, and a valid form of identification. A nominal fee may apply for certified copies.
