website alert

INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATES

Update on Storm Idalia

The Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is closely monitoring the evolving path of Idalia and its potential impact on Camden County. We urge all residents to stay informed by regularly checking for updates from the Camden County EMA. For the latest information, including emergency declarations, evacuation notices, closures, and public notices, please visit www.CamdenCountyGa.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=1749.

Stay Informed

To stay updated on the latest weather information, we encourage local residents to visit trusted sites such as the National Hurricane Center at www.nhc.noaa.gov and the National Weather Service Office in Jacksonville at www.weather.gov/jax. In addition, it is important for Camden County residents to sign up for the CodeRED Emergency Notification System. You can do this by visiting www.camdencountyga.gov/CodeRED or texting "CamdenCodeRED" to 99411. CodeRED allows the Camden County EMA to directly communicate with you through your landline, cell phone, or email during emergency situations. TDD/TTY service is also available. By participating in this system, you will receive notifications for emergency situations and critical community alerts.

The Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), in collaboration with the Camden County Sheriff's Office, the cities of Kingsland, St. Marys, and Woodbine, Camden County Schools, Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, and the National Weather Service (NWS), will work together to coordinate incident response and public communications. To stay updated, please continue to monitor the following accounts:
