This is an urgent message from Camden County Emergency Management. Camden County is currently under a Wind Advisory until Saturday at 4 pm for wind gusts of 40 to 45 miles per hour. Camden County is also under a Coastal Flood Warning until Sunday at 7 PM. Camden County can expect Moderate to Major coastal flooding forecast to be 3 to 4 feet above normal high tides. Moderate to Major flooding will cause road closures and may flood low lying homes and businesses. If you live in low-lying areas, or areas that are subject to flooding you may be affected through Sunday night, and possibly Monday.
            Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Coastal flooding will continue through Sunday. St. Marys residents needing sand bags can pick them up from St. Marys Public Works Department today (Friday) from 8:00 am until 3:00 p.m. and tomorrow (Saturday) from 7:00 am until 12:00 p.m.
