Tropical Storm Elsa Updates
City of Kingsland government offices are closed at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. It is anticipated that offices will re-open with regular hours on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Employees in essential operational positions (police, fire, EMS, water/sewer plant operations) will continue to operate as usual.
KINGSLAND SANITATION CUSTOMERS (Update 7/6/2021): Weekly pickup of garbage that normally is done on Wednesdays by the City of Kingsland is being pushed back until Thursday, 7/8/2021 due to potential impact by Elsa. The sanitation department will pick up Wednesday’s and Thursday’s route on Thursday 7/8/2021.
Camden County Emergency Management is continuing to closely monitor Tropical Storm Elsa. At 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, Camden County is currently under a Tornado Watch, a Tropical Storm Warning, and a Flood Watch.
Residents and businesses should secure items around their property that can cause damage or injury if impacted by wind.
