Kingsland Home Again Program

Due to the events and declared disaster of Hurricane Irma in 2017, and the 31548 zip code declared a Most Impacted and Distressed zone, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Received Disaster Recovery Funds through the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery.  Through these funds, the City of Kingsland is offering the Kingsland Home Again Program.

This program is intended to aid vulnerable households who are still recovering from Hurricane Irma. Through this, the Kingsland Home Again Program will provide safe, secure, and disaster resistant housing for the residents of the 31548 zip code by addressing damaged or destroyed homes. Eligible applicants can receive up to $75,000 in assistance for home rehabilitation and up to $150,000 in assistance for home replacement.
