Kingsland Fire Rescue Successfully Reduces City ISO Rating

The Insurance Services Organization (ISO) has completed its most recent review of Kingsland Fire Rescue and affirmed the department's Public Protection Classification (PPC) of 02/2Y.

Most U.S. insurers of home and business properties use ISO's PPC in calculating insurance premiums. In general, the price of insurance in a community with a lower PPC rating is less than in a community with a high PPC, assuming all other factors are equal. The City of Kingsland ISO rating was previously a 3/9, from the 2013 inspection, and has successfully been reduced to a 2/2Y, effective September 2018.
