The Public Works Department is dedicated to maintaining essential infrastructure and providing core services that directly impact the quality of life for Kingsland’s residents, businesses, and visitors. Our team works year-round to keep streets safe, neighborhoods clean, and drainage systems functioning efficiently.
Our Services
Road Maintenance
We maintain and repair city streets, sidewalks, and rights-of-way to ensure safe and reliable transportation. Services include pothole patching, asphalt resurfacing, signage repair, and seasonal maintenance.
Sanitation Services
Our sanitation team provides curbside garbage collection and bulk waste pickup throughout the city. We are committed to timely, efficient, and environmentally responsible waste management.
Drainage System Maintenance
Public Works oversees the maintenance and improvement of the city's stormwater drainage systems. We regularly inspect and clean ditches, culverts, and storm drains to help prevent flooding and protect property.
Recycling Drop-Off
The City offers a public recycling drop-off location at the north end of the Public Works parking area.
