Description:
The project consists of the following generally described work: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and appurtenances to construct drainage improvements on May Creek Road, Princeton Place, and Harvard Court. Construction includes removal and replacement of the existing base and asphalt pavement and removal of drainage structures and pipes to accommodate installation of proposed Reinforced Concrete Pipes and Drainage Structures, One (1) 5’ x 5’ Concrete Double Box Culvert with associated wing walls, and One (1) 5’ x 3’ Concrete Double Box Culvert with associated wing walls. Construction includes demolition, grading and drainage, base and paving, water and sewer utilities relocation, and sidewalk replacement.

Upon receipt of payment to Thomas & Hutton, by check, in the amount of $ 150.00, plans will be released as appropriate. The payment is non–refundable.

Special Requirements:
Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability." Bids shall also be accompanied by completed Bidder’s Qualifications forms as provided in the Contract Documents. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney–in–fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond.
