The City of Kingsland is soliciting proposals to qualified construction contractors for road repairs in two (2) different locations within the City of Kingsland. Specifications for this project are included in this Request for Proposal. It is important for the City to be able to procure bid proposals from qualified contractors who have the integrity and reliability that will assure good faith performance. The scope of work provided herein is intended to be restrictive and is presented as the representative of the type and quality of work sought. Vendors are encouraged to respond with the intent of the scope of work described herein. Following the commencement date of the contract and following written “Notice to Proceed” by Owner, the City will provide up to 60 Days for the Contractor to receive the materials needed to complete the Scope of Work. Once the materials have been received the City will allow up to 10 Days for the completion of the Scope of Work. The Contract time may be extended in an amount equal to time lost due to delays beyond the control of Contractor. Such delays shall include, but not limited to, acts or neglect by Owner or others performing additional work, fires, floods, abnormal weather conditions or acts of God. All materials will be delivered to the City of Kingsland. Material quality is expected to be commercial grade. The City reserves the right to set the standard of quality for materials for any given job. All materials used shall be acceptable to the City of Kingsland and meet GDOT requirements.

All work to be completed to GDOT Specifications. Utility Accommodation Policy and Standards Manual 2016, Chapter 5 (attached). Contractor will be responsible for all traffic control.
